Virtual staging rules in Northwest Territories

Yes. The Northwest Territories' Real Estate Agents' Licensing Act names no rule for virtual staging, but the Superintendent may suspend or cancel a licence for publishing any misrepresentation respecting a trade. That is the hook for a misleading photo, and the Act is under review in 2026.

There is no published MLS® rulebook in the territory; the REALTOR® Code and the Competition Act apply on top of the Act.

A remarks line you can paste

Plain words, consistent with the rule above. Sedam Staging writes the same line into the disclosure file that ships with every listing.

Some photos are virtually staged; furniture and décor were added digitally and are not included.

The rule, handled by default

Sedam Staging burns the “Virtually staged” label into every listing image, ships the untouched original beside it, compares every render against the photograph so walls, windows, floors and built-ins never move, and writes the remarks line into the download. See the renders we refused →

Each quotation was read at the linked source on September 2, 2026; our confidence that it is current and complete is medium (the Act was read from the primary text; board practice is unknown because no rulebook is published).
